4. Translation of Medical Complaints at Healthcare Facilities

This service involves translating your symptoms when communicating with healthcare facilities.  You may be confused or unsure about how to describe to a health professional the problems you are having in Japanese, so this service is to bridge the gap and help you to be confident on your trip to the clinic.

 


The Fee


We will translate your main complaint via email for ¥1000 per case (excluding life-threatening severe symptoms). Showing this translated email to the doctor can help streamline the process.

 

【urgent cases 】

For urgent cases that are non-life threatening like a sudden fever in a child, we will provide the translation within a maximum of 5 hours (of course, we will do our best to respond as quickly as possible). Payment can be made later within one week for cases involving your child's illness, but please make sure to include "Regarding Child's Illness" in your message. Please use your discretion and do not use this service for potential life-threatening illnesses or injuries, and instead please contact your local emergency services.


Application and Inquiry


At the time of your application or inquiry, we assume that you have agreed to all of the following terms:

 

 

 

 

  • Please choose the number 4 as the desired service and make sure to provide a valid email address where we can reach you.
  • Our specialized staff will determine if we can accept your request from the message received, and we will respond within 2 days.
  • If we can accommodate your request, we will send you payment instructions from Japan B.
  • The estimated response time is within 1 week from the date of payment. Please note that this is not from the date of your contact. While it may take up to 1 week, we will try to respond as soon as possible. Depending on the timing, there may be cases where we keep you waiting due to other matters. Please understand in advance.

 

After our response, if 48 hours have passed and there has been no further communication, we will consider the request canceled.
